Senior Supervisor Production

CTR/Hayco is a multinational manufacturing company looking for an Senior Supervisor to join our Production team in Portugal.

Job Purpose

Manage the manufacturing operations of the formulation are to ensure achieving the volume, quality and cost goals.

Job Responsabilities

• Monitor and track all the core team metrics including safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and productivity.  
• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities.
• Investigate root causes of non-conformances in audit, identify and execute corrective actions by the expected completion date.  
• Drive standardization of production operations following SOP and WI requirements.  
• Drive 7S management and track results weekly.  
• Participate in lean manufacturing projects.  
• Lead and develop a team of team leaders and operators.

Job Requisitions

• Degree or technical qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading or supervising production teams.
• Experience in formulation, mixing, blending or batch manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and ensure the achievement of production targets.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing/ERP systems.
• Experience in a chemical or multinational manufacturing environment is preferred.
