CTR/Hayco is a multinational manufacturing company looking for an Senior Engineer Project Engineering to join our Engineering team in Portugal.

Requirements

The Senior Engineer Project Engineering coordinates RFQs and NPI projects with various departments for achieving the targets for schedule, cost and quality for the projects and develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes that improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

Plan and implement an established project plan. Identify, resolve, or escalate operational problems and minimize delays. Analyze project requirements and perform standard technical calculations. Coordinate the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and provide satisfactory standards of service. Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate project status within and beyond the project team. Work with internal teams on assembly, manufacturing set-up. Conduct tooling qualification for plastics, metal, rubber parts, outsourced parts, etc. Develop testing plan and equipments with team for execution. Debug and solve engineering and technical issues by employing solid scientific methodologies and statistical analysis. Be responsible for the engineering build from pilot run to the start of mass production including evaluation of data and result. Train up and coach less experienced engineers.

Skills/Requirements

• Degree on Industrial Engineering
• Experience on manufacrturing environment managing quotations and new products lauch.                                             
• Principles of cost engineering and cost control in manufacturing environments
• Process engineering fundamentals, including workflow optimization and efficiency analysis.
• Material, labor, and overhead cost structures related to production processes.
• Methods for estimating, budgeting, and forecasting costs for process improvements and ROI analysis.
• Risk analysis and cost-benefit evaluation for process changes or new projects.
• English speaking and writing fluency
