Education

Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.

Requirements

5+ years of working experience in project management, engineering or operations in a large- scale manufacturing factory of which 2 years in managerial position in fast pace manufacturing environment. Project Management certification or related experiences.  Knowledge: Familiar with project management concepts, Products transfer in a manufacturing environment, Multi-engineering discipline, Product validation, Time management. Business acumen.

Skills:  Inter-personal and communication skills, Problem solving and conflict resolution skills, Computer literacy (PM tools).

Job Responsibilities

1. Creates a master project time plan from start to completion.

2.    Works  closely  with  the  Supply  Chain  Management, Manufacturing Operations, Mold Making, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sustaining Engineering teams of both Dominican Republic and China on the transfer of knowledge and know how, transfer of documents (SOP, WI, EOM, Specifications, QMS, etc.) and business process, transfer of equipment (machine, molds, tools, fixtures, jigs, etc.) and spare parts, and transfer of piece parts, raw materials (direct and indirect).

3. Works closely with Facilities, Utility and Health, Safety  & Environment and Security teams in getting the factory ready for the introduction of products being transferred from Other locations.

4. Organizes a cross function and cross location project team, monitors cost and timeline, communicates to internal and external parties, and makes sure the project milestones meet targeted deadline and all expense are within budget. Conducts project reviews.

5. Provides status update to customer directly and also through Marketing and Business Development team

6.   Releases   reports   and   maintains   records based  on project  milestones.       Uses    project  management software to track and communicate  the project progress.

7. Follow up NPI project process and support/lead Cost savings & Sustaining projects initiatives (assigned).
