Job Responsibilities

Develops, qualifies and improves injection molding process based on the characteristics and design specifications of the product. Adheres to safe standards. Researches on new technology, e.g. automation, robotic, etc. suitability for adoption into the injection molding process.

Configures the molding equipment to maximize the through-put of the production. Determines the standard time of the product and defines the Product Manufacturing Plan (PMP). Continues to improve the productivity of the injection molding process.

Works with Quality Assurance team to implement in

process quality control plan. Characterizes and controls injection mold process using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and improves the process capability (Cp & Cpk) of the injection mold process.

Works  with New Product  Development team  to  introduce

new product based on the established New Product Introduction  process.  Defines  new  process  and validates

the production layout.

Resolves manufacturing issues (manpower, methods, materials and machine) to increase production yield, achieve product quality target and reduce customer complains.

Implements Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for all the injection molding equipment.
